We’re overjoyed to share that our short film, Many Small Steps, has been officially selected for the Fort William Mountain Festival! 🎥

This mini-documentary was filmed on the Isle of Mull, capturing the journey of 8-year-old Ollie from Edinburgh as he climbs Ben More, his first mountain. The film uses this powerful metaphor to convey its core theme: taking incremental steps can help overcome life’s biggest challenges.

Inspired by Ollie’s story, the film holds a personal and poignant message. Ollie has ASD and will face many obstacles in life, but this experience serves as a reminder that no matter how daunting the challenge, it can be surmounted one step at a time.

We hope Many Small Steps resonates with viewers, offering a sense of hope in the power of small, everyday actions, rather than the overwhelm of tackling big challenges all at once.

Having this story showcased in Fort William, a place that epitomises adventure and resilience, is an honour. We can’t wait to share Ollie’s journey with the festival audience.

Stay tuned for screening details, and thank you for supporting independent filmmaking.
